OVERVIEW:
Guidepoint’s Human Resources team thrives on problem solving and
creating happier employees. As Guidepoint works to achieve its mission

personalized knowledge-sharing solutions, the Seoul, Korea office is
looking for a Human Resources Manager (12-month contract) to help
improve our culture and people programs.
As Guidepoint’s HR Manager located in our office in Seoul, Koera, you
will embrace the opportunity to shape a high-performing organization,
using your sound ideas and management skills to ensure that HR
initiatives and services are aligned with business objectives and are
delivered effectively to enhance employee engagement, productivity, and
retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication and conflict resolution.
- Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues in a timely and fair manner.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and productivity.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance-related issues.
- Ensure that performance reviews are conducted regularly and align with company goals.
- Identify training needs across the organization and develop appropriate training programs.
- Coordinate and deliver training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
- Ensure that the company complies with all local employment laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with local payroll provider and Head of Global Payroll on monthly payroll changes.
- Prepare regular reports on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, recruitment efficiency and internal mobility.
- Conduct regular market analysis to benchmark salaries and benefits.
WHAT YOU HAVE:
- A degree from a 3+ year university
- Deep knowledge of Korean labor law, social and welfare benefits, and HR administration
- Minimum of 5 years as an HR Manager or higher, focused on performance management, onboarding, and exit processes
- Proficient in HRIS management
- Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Applicant Tracking Systems
- The willingness to work autonomously in a fast-paced international environment
- An internal consultant mindset, with proven experience to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proven excellence in project management skills: prioritizing
workload, planning and organizing, demonstrating high levels of
accuracy, attention to detail and professional delivery
- Strong team player characteristics with entrepreneurial mindset and
“can-do” attitude along with pro-active, results-oriented work style and
highly professional conduct
- Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to drive best practices globally
- Fluent Korean and English is a must, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
