MAJOR FUNCTION: 

Perform production activities as outlined in company policies and work instructions.

Conduct quality inspections on parts and press equipment inspections.

Follow 3C 5S on the production floor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

Operate machines assigned individually to perform production activities.

Follow work standards and team leader's or supervisor's instructions.

Conduct visual self-quality inspections on parts during production activities.

Conduct daily equipment inspection and perform basic record keeping.

Comply to safe work practices and make sure all required PPE are prepared.

Maintain clean and orderly working environments.

Focus on Safety, Quality, and Productivity.

Conduct rework activities and defect tracking processes.

Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to read and follow written instructions.

Demonstrated attention to detail and experience with precise work.

Able to distinguish between quality and defective work results.

Excellent hand and eye coordination.

Able to lift objects weigh more than 50 lbs occasionally.

Analysis and repair of tools, progressive dies, and conventional dies, to address quality and production     concerns, as assigned.

Manufacture spare components and perform die maintenance of tool to standards set out in   electronically- maintained tool timing records and tool designs.

Complete electronic record of tool maintenance performed by part and job number

Develop preventive and predictive tool maintenance schedules based upon analysis of tool performance to achieve improved production volumes.

Review `last piece` inspection records and make necessary improvements.

Ensure documentation and records are maintained.

Making or equivalent work experience.

Tool & Die manufacturing methods and related equipment experience.

English and metric systems of measurement.

Knowledge of ISO/TS-16949:2002 quality systems.

Must be able to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
